Mr. Quiason heads the Firm's securities practice. He holds a Master's degree in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law. He is also the Corporate Secretary of Lopez Holdings Corporation, First Philippine Holdings Corporation, ABS-CBN Corporation, and Rockwell Land Corporation.

He has been recognized as one of the few securities experts in the Philippines, and has authored several papers on securities regulation, including Principles of Securities Regulation, published in the Investment Management &the Philippine Stock Market (1995 and 2003); Development of Securities Markets of Developing Countries: Theories and Policies, published in 65 Phil. Law Journal (March - June 1990); Advantages and Pitfalls of Computerization in Law Offices, a country paper for the ASEAN Law Association (November 30, 1992); and Rules on Warrants for Capital Asia (May 14, 1992).
